🇭🇷 Tesla FSD is approved in Croatia

Approved since 28 Sept 2026

Last checked 2 Oct 2026 · last change 28 Sept 2026

Short answer: Yes. Croatia approved Tesla FSD (Supervised) on 28 Sept 2026 by recognising the Dutch RDW type approval. Owners of eligible cars can subscribe and use it on public roads, with the driver supervising at all times.

Eighth country. DZM approved on 28 September; Tesla announced it on the 29th. A reversal from early September, when DZM said a decision was unlikely before EU-level talks.

Approval here is a national recognition of the RDW's provisional EU type approval. FSD (Supervised) is an SAE Level 2 system: the driver must supervise at all times and remains legally responsible. If the EU ultimately rejects the Dutch request, national recognitions built on it could lapse.
