🇱🇹 Tesla FSD is approved in Lithuania

Approved since 20 May 2026

Last checked 2 Oct 2026 · last change 20 May 2026

Short answer: Yes. Lithuania approved Tesla FSD (Supervised) on 20 May 2026 by recognising the Dutch RDW type approval. Owners of eligible cars can subscribe and use it on public roads, with the driver supervising at all times.

First country to recognise the Dutch approval. No separate national testing.

Approval here is a national recognition of the RDW's provisional EU type approval. FSD (Supervised) is an SAE Level 2 system: the driver must supervise at all times and remains legally responsible. If the EU ultimately rejects the Dutch request, national recognitions built on it could lapse.
